My 10 year old son hated to read. The Elves of Owls Head Mountain was given to him and he could not put it down. I pick him up from school and HE IS READING FOR THE SIX MINUTES it takes in the car to get home!! I cannot tell you how wonderful it is that he has discovered the wonders of a good book. He say he loves it, loves everything about it.If your son (or daughter) likes fairy tales, folk stories, Dungeons and Dragons you must give them this book to read. My son says there is a series of three- my son is looking forward to them all. Buying the other two and thought I would let others know about this wonderful book.
What ever it is it led my son to a READING FRENZY that I thought would have been impossible.
